Relaxed leadership. How good does that sound? Because hey, it’s not that simple, is it…?
I don’t know about you, but in my world of urban development it’s always about leadership in large, multidisciplinary projects.
You participate in multiple teams for multiple projects side by side. You lead teams with diverse disciplines, visions and interests. You build teams across the walls of governments and companies, in order to realize a great collective goal.
The joke is: the leaders in urban development are often professionals who, like me, have not been trained for that at all. They were good at their profession and have moved up to leadership positions, only to discover that leadership is a profession on its own.
And that can make you feel as if you are not getting the most out of your collaborations…
Recognizable?
That is precisely why I invited Anniek Oost as a guest in the podcast.
Anniek is the founder of the company Dynamic Minds, which coaches management teams, directors and executives to use all the potential of their teams.
What is special about Anniek’s vision is that she works very practical, so that you can immediately implement it on the work floor. No general wisdom, but training on the job.
I immediately used it in this episode to inspire you (and myself!) and help you move forward.
Enjoy this valuable episode of the ‘Hopeless to Hotspot’ Podcast!
Radiant greeting,
Sandra
